Responsible Gambling
Gambling should be entertainment, not a way to earn money. Decide what you can afford before you play, set boundaries for your time and spending, and stop if gambling begins to affect your finances, relationships or wellbeing.
Spinz provides account controls that can help you manage your play. They are available through the Limits area under My Account, and our Customer Support team can explain the options if anything is unclear.
Keep play within your limits
Set a spending limit and a time limit before you start. Use only money you can afford to lose. Do not chase losses or continue playing in an attempt to recover money already spent.
It can also help to review your account activity instead of relying on memory, avoid gambling while affected by alcohol or drugs, and take a break if your play becomes reckless or differs from your usual pattern. Keep your login and payment details away from children and other people.
Every gambling result is uncertain. Previous rounds do not determine the next random result. A return-to-player percentage describes a theoretical long-term return and does not predict what will happen in an individual session.
Deposit and net loss limits
You can set a deposit limit for a rolling period of one day, one week or 30 days. Once you reach the limit, you cannot make another deposit until the relevant period resets.
A net loss limit stops further wagers when the amount you selected has been reached during the chosen period. Limits can be configured on a daily, weekly or monthly basis.
Making a limit stricter takes effect immediately. Making it less restrictive requires a 24-hour wait. Choose an amount that reflects what you can safely afford rather than what you hope to win.
Time Out and Reality Check
Time Out prevents access to your Spinz account for one day, one week or 30 days. The account reopens automatically when the selected period ends. It can be useful when you want a fixed short break from play.
Reality Check displays session information at regular intervals, including time played and money spent or won. It also gives you options to view Transaction History or leave the game. The default interval is 60 minutes. You can change the interval or turn the feature off in My Profile under My Account.
Account Closure is also available from My Profile under My Account. If gambling is causing harm or you need a longer separation from play, self-exclusion is the stronger control.
Self-exclusion
You can self-exclude for 3, 6 or 9 months, for 1 year or indefinitely. Access to your Spinz account is restricted while the exclusion applies. Contact us through Live Chat if you want to activate self-exclusion. We will let you know once the exclusion is active.
If money remains in your account during self-exclusion, you can contact Customer Support to request a withdrawal. Verification may still be required. New deposits remain blocked while the exclusion is active.
When a fixed exclusion period has ended, you must contact Customer Support if you want us to review account access. Reinstatement is not automatic or guaranteed. A request to reduce or revoke a fixed exclusion cannot take effect sooner than 24 hours after the request. For an indefinite exclusion, the minimum wait is 7 days. We may refuse reinstatement if we believe you may still be at risk.
You can ask us to extend a fixed exclusion after its selected period has ended.
Signs that it may be time to stop
Consider stepping away and seeking help if you spend more money or time than planned, chase losses, gamble to solve financial problems, hide the extent of your gambling or find it difficult to stop.
Other signs include neglecting work, study, family or other responsibilities, borrowing money, or selling possessions to continue gambling. These signs are reasons to pause, use the controls available and speak to a qualified support service.
Further support
Spinz identifies Gambling Therapy, Gamblers Anonymous and GamCare as organisations that offer support for people concerned about gambling. BetBlocker and Gamban provide software designed to restrict access to gambling websites.
For help with a Spinz account control, use Live Chat or contact Customer Support. You can also email [email protected] for a matter that is not time-sensitive. In most markets, our Live Chat and email support run around the clock.
